We're excited about his opportunity and we think he'll be able to come in and contribute early for us." RECRUITED BY: Greg Studrawa

MILE'S TAKE : Another hog for our o-line. Big country boy from Georgia, looks like a giant howdy doody. Plays basketball for his high school team and has good feet with long, nimble toes. Originally committed to Alabama and we flipped him from you know who.

MILE'S TAKE : Fanaika is one big Mo-Fehoko. He is a massive human being. We think no one will wish to Fehoko with Fanaika. He is our first Tongan and I hope the first of many, I love the Tongan spirit. Fanaika family gave me ceremonial grass skirt which I proudly wear on special occasions. They made me promise not to eat it.

His symmetrical arms help provide balance. Is aware of his pockets at all times. We plan to use him this year and will likely redshirt Rettig.

MILE'S TAKE : A likely descendant of Quantavius Caesar Aurileius III, Leslie gives us the altitude we lack at the receiver position. Is not academically legible yet and has some work to so in the classroom. If he makes the grade he should push our smurfs for playing time early.

offensive line class I have had at LSU.

MILE'S TAKE : Now this is a young man with the chest to play quarterback at LSU. His throws possess velocity. Has surfer boy look with terminator arm. We plan to use him this year and will likely redshirt Jennings.

DeSean Smith

6-4 * 226 * Tight End

MILE'S TAKE : DeSean is a tall, large tight end with huge, soft hands. Shaking hands with him is like shaking hands with a catcher's mitt. He has a vertical game with impressive angulation skills on his cuts. Not just a receiving tight end, he likes to push people as well. Brings us altitude with just the right amount of attitude to our tight end position.

KEVIN SPEARS

6-3 * 190 * Wide Receiver

MILE'S TAKE : I have no idea who this is. I am told by staff Spears is good sleeper and certainly adequate rest is essential to his position, whatever position it is he plays.

LOGAN STOKES

6-4 * 240 * Tight End
Muscle Shoals, Ala.
Northeast Mississippi Community College

PRIOR TO LSU: Transfers to LSU after spending two seasons at Northeast Mississippi Community College … Hauled in 10 passes for 80 yards as a sophomore in 2012 … Named to the 2012 National Junior College Athletic Association All Region XXIII Second Team and a Mississippi Association of Community/Junior College All-State honoree … Coached in junior college by Ricky Smither … Prepped at Muscle Shoals (Ala.) High School where he was coached by Scott Basden.

PERSONAL: Parents are Sheila Wimberly and Patrick Stokes … Born Dec. 4, 1992.

MILE'S TAKE : Logan is our pushing tight end. You always need one tight end to catch and one to push and hope over time they can learn to do both. Stokes has hands like Bricks. And Brick Haley has some big hands.

LOL
On KJ Malone, Miles also talked of his story being part of the American dream. His dad worked backbreaking hours as a letter carrier to provide his son with the chance to go to college.
