Hey yall here’s my way too early mock draft. What do you think?
BTW I have watched film on all these guys besides for round 3. So I’m not just basing it off of highlight reels….

Round 1. Rueben Foster – LB – Alabama

Going with BPA. This could very well end up being Zach Cunningham but for now I slightly like Foster better.

Round 2. Desmond King – CB – Iowa

This was probably the hardest decision for me between King and Adoree Jackson. Jackson is an electrifying playmaker, but at the end of the day I think king is a better overall corner. And they both are good returners.

Round 3. – Karter Schult – DE – Northern Iowa

I couldn’t find any film on him, but from everything ive read about him, the dude checks all the boxes. This is his stat line in 11 games: TKL-74 | TFL 24 | Sacks 17 he finished his college career with 35.5 sacks. I really really like this kid

4 – Jordan Morgan – OG - Kutztown

Really moves well for a big guy. Could be another small school gem to replace a small school legend.

6 – Cooper Rush - Qb - Central Michigan

I really like him as a prospect to sit a few years under Drew. Hes really smart and is a film rat. He has all the intangibles very similar to drew. Has great pocket awareness and his overall game improved every year he played. And he’s coming from a pro style offense.

Man this kid is like Darren Sproles, Leveon Bell, and Lesean McCoy all rolled up in one person. This cat would be sick in our offense.

That's some pretty impressive numbers from Shultz....I know he's from a small school but it looks like he has some tenacity and a reved up motor. That always translates well in the NFL.

I know we need a pass rusher but from a few mocks we could already be 5-7 Defensive Ends through the draft when we get to pick. It would be a waste to use a high pick for anything but the best at their position. If we can get the 1st or 2nd player at his position and we could use a player of the position to some extent we should. BPA!

If the #1 receiver in the whole draft falls we should take him. Same at Corner, Line backer!

I think the Saints will take the best player according to their board. It could be that they see the 5th best DE as better than the best WR. It could also be that they see the best WR as better than the 3rd DE.

I don't think any outsider would come close to guessing how the Saints have players ranked. The same is true for all teams which is why the draft is so unpredictable.

I would love to get Adoree Jackson in 2nd round. Out ST need a boost almost as much as the defense.

I hate to watch him tackle. He drives his head down and hasn't corrected his technique. Dudes gonna hurt himself badly.
