The fact that nearly every Mock here - and by the "experts" has us getting Olave with one our 2 1st's tells me... There is no way we are getting Olave.

The other picks were Tyler Smith, Tyquan Thornton, Pierre Strong Jr. and Chris Paul.

It’s working out pretty well so far, Thornton is an absolute burner and the Dawgs are studs.

I do wish I’d have gotten one of the higher rated tackles, but it wasn’t quite as big of a need as I franchise tagged TA. I’m sentimental and want him to play his whole career in NO and retire a Saint.

The 'Give the forum what it wants' mock.

What the mock simulators show is, if tons of trade downs are available, you can really load up on good prospects in 2nd and 3rd round. Big dropoff after around pick 20 but then there's lots of value in 2nd and 3rd. The volume of needs makes it attractive to me to load up on offensive line and WR corps in those good value rounds.
