I have been really enjoying this podcast, really well done with tons of details on the background of rocketry (before, during WW2, and after), and the surprising role science fiction writers played (unknowingly) in the development of the space race.
I just got to the part where Dr. Von Braun chose to go with the Americans, rather than the French or Brits towards the end of the war. Incredibly stark contrast between how Germany dealt with their scientists vs. Stalin, and how we quietly embraced Dr. Von Braun without public fanfare.
Has anyone else listened to this?
