Move Corey White to Strong Safety (1 Viewer)

I think we draft another CB. Hopefully Darius Slay. That guy has a good film from college and his combine was excellent. If this happens, I think Greer and PRob can both move inside as they cant keep up one on one with big receivers. Move Corey White to Strong Safety and phase Roman Harper out along with his mediocre play and his big fat salary.

He's built like a safety anyway. And he's a thumper. I'm all for it. I actually like white and think he'll be good one day

As of right now the top remaining Safeties from last year are all under contract. Unless Jenkins is moved to corner or Harper is traded/release our Safeties will look exactly the same

Go and check out City Saints vids on Corey White. Most of his bad plays were blown zone coverages. In man to man he reacts rather quickly and gets his head turn around displaying some ball skills.

He was a 5th rounder thrown into the fire last year. I have faith that he can compete.

I am not gonna use last year's performance as the means to evaluate Corey White. The two main reasons are that he was a rookie last year and the Saints defense was collectively terrible.

Well if thats the case then he was Drafted as a corner so there u go. Not to say he couldn't be moved to safety but thinking along those thoughts and not comparing him and wiping his slate clean and all then. Hed be given another shot@ corner.

No, thats the last thing we need to do. Trading future draft picks has been killing us. We finally have 7 picks and i hope we keep them.

Harper isn't going anywhere this season and is starting again so get over it. Next season if Harper doesn't return then it may be a plausible idea.

Also not everyone who plays corner can always make the transition to safety, see Malcolm Jenkins.
