Movies everyone else seems to love that you’re just ‘meh’ about (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure why you misquoted how I feel about movies. I'm sure the movie industry plays an important role in the economy as they incite a LOT of people toward their product and all their frivolous merchandizing.

All I'm saying is that it's not my thing. I can think of dozens of other activities I would prefer to spend my time doing than sitting in a movie theater for a couple of hours. Seriously, if the vast majority of the population felt as I do, a lot of movie studio personnel would be out of work and all the actors on the big screen would have to find real jobs.

But I don't dislike the movie people or their craft. I simply don't know anything about them or their work. There are a lot of posts in the Funny Memes thread that shoot right over my head. Most of them make absolutely no sense to me.
If you'd ever worked as an actor, you'd know it's very much a real job.

I feel the same way about eating out. An expensive waste of time for the most part. $7 for a pint of draft beer? Spare me.

Black Panther was a bad movie and the second one was even worse

We could probably do a few marvel movies

And I can mostly cook a better version at home.

I was trying to be a bit 'tongue in cheek' with that line.
I'm sure that it is quite a difficult job and worth the $millions$ that many movie stars make for their services.

I consider eating out and drinking out separate

I agree about drinking out, I’m like ‘I can get a whole six pack for what you’re charging for one glass’

I once paid $14 for the weakest run and coke I’ve ever had

It had to have been 80% water 18% coke with a splash of rum
