I don’t know man, I didn’t like it. Depressing as hell as I remember. Saw it like 5 years ago and couldn’t tell you what it was about other than the coffee is for closers scene. Something along the lines of sad men working in a dingy office trying to take advantage of people.

I appreciated it more after working a sales job (one that was based off commission - no sale = no pay :confused: )

It is sort of subversion of the "American dream" theme of hard work paying off.

The play on which it was based won a Pulitzer and was nominated for a Tony or two, I think. Curiously the play did not include the Alec Baldwin scene, that was added in the movie. A rare example of a film improving upon the source material.
