mozilla bookmarks disappear (1 Viewer)

Okay, for some reason, Mozilla on my laptop continually drops the bookmarks. There is no rhyme or reason, or any time relation to it. About every two months or so, all of my bookmarks get deleted. Can anybody explain that one to me?

same thing happened to me twice before I just opted to use my del.icio.us

firefox has also been crashing on me much more frequently
