This really does suck. Forget for the moment that it takes the eye off of their miserable season, what bothers me more is the implications about where the season could head if it happens to many more teams.

The NFL’s “fingers crossed” approach to managing this pandemic is going to be the undoing of this season at some point.

This weekend's game will almost certainly be pushed back to Tuesday barring more positive tests in the coming days. If it is postponed, this very well could affect the Saints schedule the rest of the way.

I wonder what the NFL is going to do when its week 10 and this continues after most teams have used their byes. On that note I wonder if Tuesday football will become a new thing.

Could see it working for a few times a year. Make those matchups potential marquee matchups. Will give NFL new revenue stream to offset venue losses.
