funny or not, it was no funnier than the original

T. O. IS B.S.

1. "That's my teammate, that's my QB" Ask Steve Mariucci and Donovan McNabb what a fair-weather friend T.O. is. To imply that he wouldn't turn on a teammate is ridiculous.

2. HE is actually criticizing Romo in a not-so subtle way. He assumes that Romo will get the blame from the media for losing the game. So he is chastising them, "that's wrong, he's my teammate."
"We lost as a team" is a phrase that is usually employed to deflect criticism when a player has screwed up and lost a game that his team had in the bag. T. O. seems to jump the gun and put Romo in this role before anyone in the media has. Kind of like, "I'll do the right thing and share the blame even though we all know it was Tony's fault we lost." Subtle, but the implication is clear.
