I believe that if the Saints do not get the opportunity to draft Glenn Dorsey or Sedric Ellis at the 10th, I believe they do not draft a DT until 2009.

Lets take a look at a couple of things:

Everyone agrees that Dorsey & Ellis are in a class of their own at DT in this Draft then there is a drop off to rest of this class
Brian Young is under contract through 2010
Hollis Thomas is under contract through 2010
Kendrick Clancy is under contract through 2009
The possibility of Charles Grant playing some DT
The weaker squads in 2006 & 2007 of is the Secondary & LB

They have too much talent at DT, in this years draft, not to get one in the first 3 rounds.

Make it your last mock....DJ Hall??? No character that Payton likes. No kickers in the 7th that could be had as free agents. I like both corners (McKelvin and DRC over Rivers).

Your calling me to task on the 5th and 7th pick, Wow did you miss the entire point of the Mock. I'll give you DJ Hall I read into the Hype around him a little to much, Yea Yea I know it's not Cool to go kicker in the Draft but if this kid is half as solid as he appear to be he'll be better than the Saint's have had in the last 5 years. If you haven't noticed there isn't exactly a surplus of kicker out there to chose from, the Saints got Martin Gramatica for God Sake! I think the DRC is Massively over HYPED and it looks like you bought that hook line and sinker. Rivers at # 10 is the smart choice if the Saints go CB at 10 the risk is high and it would set this team back on defense another couple of years if it doesn't pan out. With Rivers he will learn from: Morgan, Vilma and Fujita and can transition into the position. The CB class is fairly deep and the value at 40 is far more than it is a 10.
