I do find it interesting that he is occupying a roster spot.

We signed him from the Redskins PS. By rule he must be on the 53 for at least three weeks. I think that expired last Friday. Apparently we’re comfortable with him having that spot for depth - or we want to keep him away from others

I don't understand the receivers we picked up this year that never saw playing time. Dez is the only one that we signed that has an excuse with the foot injury he got in practice. The Marshall signing, Cobb signing I do not get. Why didnt we sign someone that would actually have played a game or more instead of injured players?

Perhaps because ready made contributors aren't out there, waiting to be plucked off a virtual Walmart shelf and actually they are what they are, fringe players who were unsigned to a full roster for good reason.
