Re-sign
UFA - PK - Martin Gramatica - signed
UFA - C - Jeff Faine - only 26 & has done a good job for us
UFA - G/C - Jonathan Goodwin - a versatile back up who can battle for Nesbit's opening
UFA - WR - David Patten - veteran leader who surprised me at how well he played for us
UFA - WR - Terrance Copper - I am satisfied with our WR bring them back and let them battle with Meachem
UFA - WR - Devery Henderson - see above, I like Devery & wish we would throw to him more than once or twice per game
UFA - TE - Billy Miller - played well in a reserve roll, should do better as a starter
UFA - RB - Aaron Stecker - has been a proven commodity for us, I am good with our 4 RBs if Deuce will take a small cut in pay
UFA - DE - Renaldo Wynn - played well in a reserve roll, 3.5 sacks & should not cost a lot
RFA - DE - Josh Cooper
RFA - OLB - Matt McCoy
RFA - RB - Keith Joseph
RFA - FB - Nate Schurman
FA pick signings
UFA - LB - Landon Johnson (Bengals) - can play all LB positions, can play MLB for us, averaged 128 tackles a year in his NFL career
UFA - CB - Drayton Florance (Chargers) - a very good young CB, Asante will be too high, we need this guy
UFA - TE - Alge Crumpler (Falcons) - he had 444 yds & 5 TDs last year, with who at QB, imagine him with Brees
UFA -G/C - Rex Hadnot (Dolphins) - a very good OL who can battle with Goodwin for Nesbit's spot, the loser will be a very good back up
UFA -OLB - Brandon Chillar (Rams) - an up and coming LB who should not cost a lot
UFA - QB - I am OK with Jamie Martin but he is SO Old, maybe McCown, Volek, or Lemon would be better or come on Palko
none of the above men are BIG name players, some will cost a lot, but none should break the bank; the same goes with our FAs
Draft picks
assuming Ellis or Dorsey are gone at #10
1 - CB - Leotis McKelvin - a great CB and super return specialist, his return abilities will offset the dangers of drafting a CB this high
other options CB - D. Rodger-Cromartie & CB - Mike Jenkins all are close and it will depend on the combine and individual workouts
2 - DT - Trevor Laws - short, but has a non stop motor looked great in the Senior Bowl, will be giving the OL fits, lined up next to Hollis
other options DT - Dre Moore & DT - Pat Sims - same as above
3 - S - Tom Zbikowski or S - Thomas DeCoud - a toss up - will depend on the combine and individual workouts
4 - 7 - BPA
