My wife asked me why I was still was football in January (1 Viewer)

She said I usually stopped watching football right after New Year's and wants to know why I am still watching football in the middle of January. I said yes I know it is a bit unusual since after the end of the regular season my interest has for the most part dropped off since my team was not making a run in the playoffs. She is so use to getting her weekends back with me she is a bit pieved. She had planned a big family get together last weekend and I had said that was fine but that I would be occupied from about 7PM til 11PM on Saturday.

I guess I am going to have to retrain her now for the coming years to expect my football viewing habits to run all the way to February and not to plan anything important in January.

It is a new world out there Saints fans.
