Drew Brees' 48-yard "Hail Mary" touchdown pass to Terrance Copper before halftime of Sunday's 31-13 victory at Atlanta was the first of his career.
"Not since street ball, back when I was like 9 years old on Woodrow Street in Austin, Texas," Brees said.
But it wasn't a first for Saints Coach Sean Payton, who was the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants in 1999 when they completed a 53-yard prayer against none other than the New Orleans Saints just before halftime in a 31-3 blowout at the Meadowlands.
