'The Bengals have their plan for free agency and the NFL Draft, and head coach Marvin Lewis called the defensive and offensive lines - in that order - the team's top areas of need in the offseason.

"We want to address the front defensively, first of all, both through free agency and the draft," Lewis said.'

I'm posting this cause the Bengals are 1 spot ahead of us in the draft....and could effect our drafting = Sedrick Ellis. If Ellis starts to fall say to Baltimore, the Saints have to think bout trading up...cause I really doubt Ellis gets past #9. Unless this is a BIG smoke-screen that Lewis is sending out.

Are they changing to a 3-4? If so, Gholston (if he is there with Sedrick Ellis) could be rated higher by them. What are the odds of Sed even falling that far?

I don't think Gholston will be available for the bengals to pick. I think he is the patriots' choice. He fits perfectly for the scheme they are playing and would allow either Vrabel or Thomas to move insight.

With this move not only they get younger, they get more pressure to the quaterback, allowing them to not put too much pressure on their secondary.

I also think that the bengals really need better defensive tackles. They also don't put much pressure to the quaterback so Ellis will be ideal for them. For those reasons I don't think we will have a chance to grab Ellis, Gholston or Dorsey.
