Further validation that kids are safer and better off playing football and being involved in a structured environment with testing and protocols. Big 10 and Pac 12 really should reconsider.

Nine Sooners positive as team returns from break

If I was a high school or college athlete I would be P'Oed right now. Trying to shut down competing for something that poses virtually no risk for me. This virus poses virtually no risk to this age group. The only long term affect is something that pretty much all viruses can cause.

Cancelling a season isn’t protecting these kids. You are taking opportunity away from a lot of kids trying to improve their draft stock and livelihood. Just think where Joe Burrow would be if this virus arrived one year earlier. For high school kids you are taking away the last opportunity most have to compete in sports.

And these same people arguing it is for player safety advocate for spring football followed by another fall season. Playing 22 games in 12 months is much more dangerous than this virus.
