N/S Bills fire OC (1 Viewer)

So this is the year Rex retires from football.

What a joke.

*edit - Since he will be fired and he and his brother will ride off into the sunset to eat more donuts.

What a joke as in the Bills.

After 2 games ?

Speaking of Bills and offense......I wonder if Spiller heads back up there?

He was the scapegoat to send a message to the rest of the team

They just gave up like 500 yards to an offensively challenged team and that causes them to fire their OC? Ok then.

Is this the earliest a coordinator has ever been fired during the regular season?

Their offense was pretty bad last night. Not as bad as the defense but Rex isn't going to fire himself or his brother.

the offense had 393 yards against the Jets - they struggled in the 3rd down area 3 of 10....

Taylor was out several plays for concussion protocol.

It wasnt their offense that let them down last night.

any football brain knows this was a scapegoat thing.

If the seat is so hot that you're gonna fire someone after 2 games, you probably should've fired them during the offseason.

Sorry but the Jets are not offensively challeneged.

They have one of the best receiving cores in the NFL, a solid offensive line and nice group of RB's with a quality QB who is getting better each season he plays.

Was going to post something similar. It was easy to miss the transformation, though. But you are certainly correct--this is not the Mark Sanchez/Geno Smith offense anymore.

Well the worst series in the entire game was when down 6 at midfield on 4th and inches they line up against base defense do a bunch of shifting and call a timeout (which they ended up badly needing later) and then proceed to come out against a total sellout goal line defense and plunge into the line for no gain with a running back who isn't exactly a power runner. Someone should have been fired just for that.

That was fast, didn't even have to go through the entire season to start terminating coaches.
