Defense! Patriots quarterback Tom Brady consults hair specialists in play to cover bald spot

Reporters from the National Enquirer tracked Brady to the offices of Dr. Robert Leonard, a hair transplant specialist in Rhode Island who has worked on the noggins of several Boston Bruins.
The weekly says Brady went there on orders from the missus.
"Gisele wants to maintain that perfect-couple image - the handsome quarterback with a head full of hair and the stunning model with her own long flowing locks," the Enquirer reported.
Two years ago, Leonard told the Boston Herald that Brady was thinning around the crown and might have inherited the balding gene from his dad.

Maybe Randy Moss threatened to expose him and that's why he was traded. LOL. :smilielol:

i could've sworn i saw a receding hairline on brady a couple of years ago

this story definitely makes sense

That's what I thought.
Actually, I've seen it both ways. Not sure it's a 100% indicator.

Supposedly it passes through from your mother's father, but I've seen premature baldness in dudes whose mother's father had Fabio hair.

There seems to be a little more going on.

I've heard a few people say that football players are also prone to baldness due to wearing helmets for most of their young lives (playing pee-wee ball, middle school, high school, college, and then the pros). Surely, genetics are involved in many cases, but I wonder if there is something to the helmet thing.

People inherit the bald gene from their Mother not their Dad.

this is an old wives tale...you can inherite the gene from either side of your parents...no one on my mothers side of the family has balding, absolutely no one yet my father side has thinning at the crown...and guess what is starting to happen to me and my brothers, you guessed it...heading into my 40's and I am starting to thin...thanks dad
