FOXSports.com, reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards has named QB Trent Green as the starting quarterback for the team's Week 11 game. "We're going to go with Trent as our starter," Edwards said. "This has been his football team for a long time. I think his return will give us a shot of adrenaline.

I gotta admit when I saw this headline on the NFL.com front page I dropped a Holy S-bomb. I really thought, and think for his own sake, that Trent Green would not/should not play another down of football, b/c that hit he took in week 1 was plain brutal - gives me a headache just watching the replay. I guess props to him for having the guts and will to step back onto the field, but I wish he would just retire - I'd hate to see him get hurt permanently.
