I knew there was something I liked about him. My dad had a heart transplant at Oschner back in 1994 when he was 36. I encourage everyone to be an organ donor if you can.

I tried to go the the site right after the segment aired and it was extremely sluggish. Hopeully they had lots of folks signing up. I think I signed up for donation years ago, but that story compelled me to sign up again just to be sure.

my Aunt had cystic fibrosis like Boomer's son, so my whole family is a donor. this was hard to watch because she got the call but was to sick for surgery. she's been gone over twenty years, she was and will always be my hero. Chris Henry's mom is a hero.
