What is hard to understand about CONTAINMENT on that punt?

There were 4 guys to the Left and 2 to the Right and BOTH guys felt they had to go to the LEFT to make the Hero Play instead of trusting their TEAMmates on the Left to do Their Job.

So instead of being tackled for a "loss", the PR guy goes to the Right and gains Positive Yardage.
