N/S Denver willing to trade Orton (1 Viewer)

Denver is willing to trade QB Kyle Orton for a 2nd round pick.

To me i think this is crazy, but i see a team like Carolina, Miami, Minnesota, and Arizona going for him mainly so they can get him and save a first round pick. What do y'all think?

Minnesota, San Francisco, Oakland, Seattle, Titans (although they wont), Carolina, Miami, Buffalo, Cleveland, Washington, and Arizona could all use him. He's really good I don't know why people keep throwing him around.

Miami seems like it would make sense all around. He's a good but not great qb and they run wildcat fairly often. I mean you don't wanna really try and get a great qb if you're running the wildcat and Orton has proven he can at least throw the ball (sometimes)

Just think if Carolina gets Luck and he turns out to be as good a pro as everyone is saying.... Every team in the NFC south will have a good QB for the next 5 years

I cant see someone giving up a 2nd rounder for Orton. He is a decent QB but a 2nd round pick seems like gold for NFL GMs

that sucks for orton. he put up lots of good numbers this year, except for Ws - much of which was the D's fault. he rebounded from an average performance for the bears to a consistent (fantasy) points scorer, now he's being shown the road. but, tebow is the future for denver. and if they get his accuracy and release more efficient, he's going to be a winner. i hated tebow when he played college ball, but i find myself oddly pulling for him.

With new management (Elway), new head coach, and the 2nd overall pick in the draft. Tebow may not be the future in Denver

Nope, but it sucks for Orton to be looking for another team because Tebow is a career back up. I bet Denver is shooting for Andrew Luck, bolstering their position with extra draft picks to switch with Carolina. There is no way Elway will let Luck slip by him and be stuck with a modified and mediocre QB.

I hope Orton does not go to the Vikings, because he could be very good there.
