Former Steelers running back Josh Harris says Ben Roethlisberger fumbled on purpose late in a 2014 game because he wanted to spite offensive coordinator Todd Haley, who had called an offensive play when Roethlisberger thought the Steelers' lead was large enough to kneel down.

That totally looked on purpose. FB knew he wasn't getting the ball so Ben put that ball on his arm to cause fumble..then the fall. It takes like 3 guys sometimes to get him down but he just falls?? Good one Ben!

I hate the Steelers. Can't stand them. Can't stand Big Ben. Totally believe this could have happened.

That said, it's important to use our brains and consider all angles. This Josh Harris guy played one season in the NFL, waited until he left and was apparently out of football to make this accusation, and on top of all of it, his Wikipedia page mentions him making accusations against his college position coach:

"After going undrafted and not being signed immediately after the draft he speculated that the Wake Forest staff and his former coaches had bad-mouthed him to NFL scouts saying he was a problem in the locker room and didn't give all his effort. After making public accusations on social media his former position coach at Wake Forest denied the allegations and apologized if any other staff had made those false comments that may have affected his draft value."
