Not much luck in not tuning over the ball. They run a lot and Ryan throws safe check downs, so they really don't take a lot of risks.

Sorry if this has to be moved off this board as many Falcon threads have recently. Just thought this was an interesting chance at a milestone never reached. On the flipside, zero turnovers in four games has a lot to do with luck so hopefully this team has lots of fumbles and INT's to come their way in December and January. :9:

That's why they're winning. It's not a mystery. It's like a boxer that predicates his offense on counterpunches. They let the other team take the risks and they capitalize on the mistakes. It takes a good run game for that to work.

Stringing games together w/o turnovers is good, but some occur naturally. Winning in spite of them is better than winning because of them, and going without them is even more impressive in the playoffs.

I think their luck will run out this weekend, Tampa Bay prides itself on taking away the ball
also law of averages
there is a reason no team has ever done it

Bingo- they are a good (not great) team, and limiting turnovers keeps them in games, giving them chances to win. Last week vs Green Bay comes to mind. I'm not sure that they take less risks than their opposition, but thus far, they have done well with turnovers. Over the course of a full season, however, my guess is that the turnovers will come and the Falcons will move back toward the league average. Like it or not, turnovers often involve chance, and thus far the Falcons have been lucky.
