I thought the ESPN 30 for 30 did a good job telling his story and showing the dark side of sports and addiction. It is a shame that anyone has to deal with this but he wasted a lot of talent due to his problems.

Ex-NFL QB arrested, found naked with meth, weed

Marinovich was arrested in Irvine, Calif. after cops received reports about a naked man on a walking trail. Police found Marinovich naked in a stranger’s backyard. TMZ Sports says Marinovich was found with a brown bag nearby that had meth and marijuana, as well as the ex-QB’s ID.
He looks pretty rough these days.

It's a sad story. The guy has been struggling for so long now. Hopefully something turns around for him - he has hardcore addiction problems.

Very sad for his family. Thought he had turned a corner with this addiction.

What is weirder - that he was so irresponsible to walk around naked, or that he was so responsible to put his ID in a bag to help the cops?

That's what happens when you don't let kids be kids growing up. He didn't have a childhood. It was all football 24/7. So when they get older they can't handle the freedom and missed out on being a kid. You learn from you mistakes when you are a kid. When you can't get out and make those stupid mistakes, you will be doomed to make even worse ones as an adult. Look at Michael Jackson, he didn't have a correct childhood and therefore remained a kid his entire life as an adult lol.

****WHOSE WAS RIGHT ABOUT ROBERT AGUAYO?!?!? I said that kickers already have a ton of pressure put upon them. So he has an unbelievable amount of pressure on him since they traded up to pick him in the second round. The front office, coaches, media, and fans are add so much pressure to this guy that he is for surely gonna bust IMO
