Is it time to bring Jimmy back home?

Personally I would rather get younger at this position..

Cook has 1 year left on his deal and is 32; and eventually in a few years we will need to find a successor to Josh Hill to fulfill the in-line Blocker role.

Curious why nobody wants him back for one more final run with Drew? Was it his attitude? Injury prone? Too old now?
I just don't think he has the 'juice' any more, apparently drops were a big time issue for him in Green Bay, and he just doesn't have the play speed he used to. He's no longer a dynamic play maker.

I just think whatever cap would go towards a One year prove it deal, could be more wisely spent on adding a Veteran Corner, a Slot receiver, and a Guard.

No way. We've been down this path before and all he did was use us as leverage to get a deal elsewhere. The only thing worse than him using us again would be another team not stepping up and him taking our money and eating up a roster spot.

Better chance at getting burrow. Hyperbole sure but I think it drives home my point. Other than drew we've been getting younger at just about every other position.

He had the chance to come back and chose the money in Green Bay, and while he was there showed that it wasn't Seattle's offense that was the problem, he just doesn't have "it" anymore. There are better, cheaper options.

Sure we don’t want to sign ‘old’ guys, but we could use some seasoning with WRs and DBs
