The ref earned an earful when he can't figure out what's pass interference. Maybe if he was a full-time official, he'd be able to comprehend and enforce the rules in a more precise manner. What a joke.

I've been seeing the "full time ref" thrown around lately. Is this because Payton said it and now some just say it in solidarity?

I say it because it makes sense. Part time officials obviously can't get the calls / rules right even with help from above. Time to fix it, because now that they keep adding rules, you can't expect the same scheme that worked years ago when there was barely any rules about catches and contact to apply.

Payton saying it is just icing on the cake. He's quite aware the system is broken.

That would make Malik the 2nd and Kelce the 3rd since a Giants O-Lineman was kicked out of after 2 flags in there game vs Redskins earlier this year.
