There's a reason Shanahan has the nickname the QB killer.

The best signing Atlanta's done in the last few years from a Saints fan perspective. Like a dunk teenager, he took the high-powered sports car given to him and immediately wrapped it around a tree.

Without looking, I doubt Drew's stats are much better if at all. There is no context to this thread... Just a snapshot of a players stats with nothing to compare it to.

You went that far.

Show the entire division.

Brees 6-9 66 yards 0 TD 1 INT 66.7% 7.3ypa 48.6 QBR (30 Million against the cap in 2016)

Newton 13-18 198yds 1 TD 0 INT 72.2% 11ypa 126.6 QBR (19.5 Million against the cap in 2016)

Winston 10-19 125yds 2 TDs 1 INT 52.6% 6.6ypa 86.5 QBR (15.43 million against the cap in 2016)

We can update after this weekend after the best QB in the division (Brees) plays a full half. I'm sure the other QBs didn't play a few series without their top two wideouts either.

The context is that Drew hasn't played his 3rd preseason game yet. Matt Ryan has and was terrible.

So we will see tonight in regards the Brees.

First and foremost: Dear LORD, no injuries!

There are no scrubs at QB in the NFC South... NONE! So far, Matt Ryan has not been lighting it up, but we know he's dangerous when he has time to throw. We know Newton is accurate, and is also a double threat when he scrambles. Winston is on the right track in his growth as a QB. So... here's context:

1. Let's see how well Drew (and our piecemeal O-line) plays vs. the Steelers.

2. If the O-line can get it together, we know that our depth at RB will get it done.

3. We know that our defense is greatly improved; watch the turnover ratio.

4. Keep a sharp eye on our kicking game/special teams (including field position).

If we get good grades on the above, the Saints will be the team to beat, and all else is secondary.
