Falcons fanbase will melt down as soon as the team does their typical midseason bedwetting. Amazing that they continue to eat the early season cheese.

Yeah, no member of this fan base has any room to talk about another fan base melting down over anything.

Sure we do. It's a lot different. We have been pathetic on defense for 3 years now and it just continues to plague us. It gets to a point where it's just hard to watch the team crumble. The Panthers made it to the super bowl last year with a top rated defense. I don't see how you can try to defend the team and be above everyone complaining? The team is terrible.

You can attempt to justify it anyway you want, but there is no difference.

Some people here really enjoy seeing us sad. We can't even be happy about a divisional rival saddnes anymore and they come to say how we shouldn't be happy.

The Falcons have a historically fickle and unsupportive fan base. The Saints do not. Go look at the numbers if you want justification. Or, ya know, just watch football.

Why go there? We've all been waiting for the cocky Panthers to fall. That's all I'm here for.

Which makes all of the constant and intellectually lazy petulance around here all the more sad.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to drive home. If your team is 0-4 and against the worst defense in the NFL, that's not a meltdown. This isn't some sort of outlier or "things are looking up" type deal. The team is bad and hasn't proven they win in three years. The Panthers made the Super Bowl last year. I don't understand how you can't see the difference between a meltdown after 1 loss and frustration after being bad for 3 years.

The difference is that these Panther fans were all Seahawks fans 3 years ago...

What is there to be happy about 0-4?
Nothing but there is a lot to be happy about Carolina 1-3 after losing in the super bowl last year. Just because the saints are bad it doesn't mean we need to be depressed all the time. Let us be happy about some little things at last.

Why not? We suffer so much already.
