Sorry if posted... but the Ravens are filling holes with some pretty good players.

The Ravens continued the rebuilding of their defense today by agreeing to terms on a three-year, $6 million deal with former Oakland Raiders safety Michael Huff.

Huff, who was released on March 12 as part of the Raiders’ roster purge, played in every game in six of his seven seasons with Oakland.

The 30-year-old is expected to immediately start for the Ravens, who lost both starting safeties from last season. Free safety Ed Reed signed with the Houston Texans after 11 seasons in Baltimore, and strong safety Bernard Pollard was released.

Not a groundbreaking signing, but replacing a future Hall of Famer is almost impossible. Another good/solid move by Ozzie.

Bummer. Would have liked to see him competing for a safety spot here. With thier recent mooves it looks like the ravens are taking their defense seriously.

Calling it now but over the next 3 years he plays at a higher level than Ed Reed.

The Ravens somehow improved their defense over last year.

Considering how they played in the regular season, not too hard to upgrade
