Rooney rule? Hmm...this will be interesting.

The Rooney Rule can be circumvented by naming the next coach while the previous coach is still working for the team and the current coach has decided to retire at a predetermined point in the future. ... at least, this is what was said by Doug Gottlieb on ESPN Radio tonight when I was listening to it in my car.

This should come in handy for Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett come 2009 as well.
