PHILADELPHIA --- A massive fight that left at least one fan bloodied and created chaos in the parking lots of Lincoln Financial Field broke out on Sunday just hours before kickoff between the Eagles and Minnesota Vikings.

Keepin' it classy in Philly, eh?

Quite the opposite from when we won our own NFCCG in January 2010. There were total strangers hugging one another in the streets because the we understood how important the victory was to a continuing reconstruction of the city, physically and spiritually, after Katrina.

Defense willing, we can experience that feeling again without having to spend too many years back in the football desert first.

These people are pathetic. What a stupid way to spend your time, fighting over a game. Will probably not attend many away games any more b/c of these low-lifes.

Eagles' fans were throwing beer bottles at Vikings' fans over "DISRESPECT"

They were doing it wrong.

This is how you do it at The Linc

About 10 years ago, went to the final game of the season between the Yankees and the Redsox at Fenway. The winner went to the playoffs. The loser's season was over. We walked through the old neighborhoods. Within 3 blocks of the stadium, there were riot police in helmets and vest on both sides of the street every 75 feet.

I asked why. The year before a Yankee female fan was killed by a Redsox mob after a NY game. They can get a little insane about their sports teams up in the NE.

Seriously - for like 25 years, every year, LSU fans would sneak at night and paint the 2 tiger heads on the front steps of one of Tulane's frat houses. It was hysterical and apparently a pain in the rear to clean.

Even we decorated Rocky when we were there in 2014. The playoff game.

I did security for the NFL little league championships. It was late morning 11As and the 6and7 y/o game was over. In the parking lot there was a fight among philly fans because one man couldn't leave the game alone. Appearantly, he was upset a 6 y/o missed a tackle and lost the game.

Mom or grandma told him to grow up and leave the kid alone. Before I knew it there were a dozen people in a fight and the Canton police making arrests.

Rocky got the ATV treatment later that night...

You are not lying there. I went to Fenway 17 years ago and I just kept my mouth shut and drank my beer. That is one serious rivalry. They in each other's faces. I wanted no part of it as a Southerner. I just drank and watched the baseball game.
