Yes it does. Why would anyone want a racist owner running a team in the NFL at this day and age? His character and background has everything to do with this. If this does happen, you can bet there will probably be protests, you can bet there will probably be sponsors that pull back from the Rams organization, as well as the NFL as a whole. This could get real muddy really quickly.

Thats not an opinion. Its a fact. Dude is pretty racist, and has made MANY racist remarks over the years. Hell, just last year he was parading around the "Barack, the Magic Negro" song on his show on a weekly basis. Since we have a black president, his race baiting has been at an all time high. And how do you know he is clean? You giving him weekly drug tests?

I don't know about the Brett Favre thing, so I can't really comment on that. But if he is racist, then yes, that makes him a bad person.

A) That's your opinion and there's nothing to really back it up besides people perceiving policy views as "racist"

B) So was Brett Favre. Does that make him a horrible person? Millions of people have gotten addicted to pain killers after needing them for medical reasons. He's been clean for years now.

C) Mods should go ahead and send this to the EE board. It's not going anywhere good here.

I stopped listening to Rush many years ago, but I recall him using code language to stir the racists. I have no timie for Rush, and it would simply make me detest the Rams for other than football reasons. On the other hand, there will be those that will become Rams fans for other than football reasons. Rush would become another Al Davis, in the sense that he'll polarize people. Anyway, you're right that this belongs on the EE board.

He is a racist. This is not opinion. This is a fact supported by years of race baiting, racist comments, etc. Its okay if you like the guy, it doesn't make you a racist, but come on. He is a bigot, plain and simple.

I guess that's why he employs several minorities, including his on-air wing man James Golden, aka Bo Snerdly.

The term "racist" is most often used to stop constructive debate, not to further it.

I have never, ever heard anything from Rush that leads me to remotely believe he is a racist.

I hope Rush buys the Rams. He will make them as good as they can possibly be. He will not accomplish this by drafting all white guys.
