The Bears next three games are against the Lions, Bucs, and Packers. Assuming that the Bears get a first round playoff bye (and how could they not with that schedule?), that means that they will go over a month without playing a game against a team with anything for which to play.

I think, if I were the Bears, I would have wanted at least one late season game against a team fighting for its playoff life.

As it is, they are going to go from a month of playing against teams just running out the string and trying not to get injured directly into the intensity of a divisional round playoff game.

That could be a recipie for getting caught with your pants down.

Bulger put up a ton of yards on the Bears "vaunted" Defense. Steven Jackson also had nice yardage on the ground. The Rams OL isn't great yet the Bears didn't get a lot pressure on Bulger. Grossman had a couple of nive throws but the differnce maker in that game was Devin Hester's punt and kickoff returns for TDs. If you're depending ST plays going into the playoffs....you might be in for some trouble. I doubt any team kicks to Hester from here on out. Teams will kick out of bounds and make Grossman drive the rest of the way. Don't get me wrong I think the Bears are a "good" team. Head and shoulders better than the Saints? Not a chance and they made be in for a rude awakening in the playoffs.....

Technically the Packers are still in the playoff hunt. Of course that will probably change by the time they play the Bears plus it could be Brett Farve's final game. I think the Bucs and Packers have a chance to knock them off. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Lions knock them off since the Lions ususally find a way to not get the number one pick in the draft. I don't think they lose all three but I'd predict the Bears to drop at least one of those games.
