Not surprised - Vilma has always been a bright, likable guy. Highly intelligent with charisma to go with it.

With that LB corps with Vilma and Fujita, we had two guys with masters degrees - and from highly respected academic schools to boot. I think that's still quite rare.

This is just another reminder of just how vindictive the Bounty Gate contrivance was. Key amongst its many mortal sins was the NFL's attempt to slander Vilma in order to permanently damage his post football ambitions as as a broadcaster. I've worked with Vilma- he's a smart dude and completely ready for prime time, imho. Glad to hear he's rolling.
