24, and poor decisions lead to him being cut. He had some good flash from what I saw, but I guess you can't outrun your history of problems.

It's a shame, it seemed like the Steelers gave him every opportunity to succeed and he still blew it.

Yeah I saw a decent amount of Steeler games this year and pretty much every time, he sucked. Seemed to fumble a lot if I recall correctly.

Fast as anything though, but can't hang onto the ball.

He was a really good college player, especially under Meyer, but a real head case. you probably dont follow the SEC closely because of your geographical location, but I can assure you a lot of us who do made this face when we read in the article that Meyer (who had a rep in the SEC for letting certain players get away with just about anything) "dismissed Rainey immediately". He had no choice but to dismiss, yet he still wanted him back on the team.
