The Chargers lost RB Brandon Oliver for the season and look to be in the market for a veteran RB to compete for snaps. What RB would you trade them for a mid to late pick? Obviously not Ingram or Spiller.

Ingram can't be moved bc of his contract and Spiller bc of injuries.

Unless a generational talent is there then RB doesn't have much value in the trade market these days.

But actually San Diego is pretty much universally agreed as the worst Front Office in football. They may do something crazy. Call em Loomis !

I know I'm going to get flamed...but I'd trade Ingram for a starting guard straight up, if they'd take it....We have enough talent at RB to fill the minimal gaps trading Ingram would leave.

He was good last season, but not great enough for me to think he's irreplaceable.

Oh hell yeah. The one thing we have done is find UDFA running backs and had success Thomas,Ivory etc

No one would trade a mid to late round pick for Spiller or Hightower. Besides, I want to see what Spiller can do healthy this season. Give him another chance.

It does no good to trade your best running back for a guard and then not have anyone to run the ball effectively. While Hightower has shown himself to be a decent back, he's not one I want to get 20-25 touches a game. Spiller probably couldn't carry that kind of a load, either.

They'll be dozens of serviceable RBs on the street in a few days.

They aren't going to trade for one.
