Oh, and he's our excellent play by play announcer nailing the final call.
(Make sure you watch it).

The issue people don't understand is, if we think we are a "really good team" we shouldn't be in so many games that get decided by a FG.I think the Vikes are somehow kicker-cursed. Way too many important games have ended in missed field goals. This one was so makeable. Poor fans. I was really hoping for a Vikings win ... but honestly, when the kicker went to kick .... I told everybody beforehand that he would miss. Sad but true. Sad, that I "looked like a genius" ... (Which I am not).
Take it from a formerly (and still sometimes) snakebitten franchise. The payoff IS worth it.The issue people don't understand is, if we think we are a "really good team" we shouldn't be in so many games that get decided by a FG.
Really good teams don't rely on a FG to win it as frequently as the Vikings do.
Regarding the "feel bad" I think at this point, most Minnesota fans will have a bit of disappointment whenever we do win something, because so many are so proud of our painful history.
Maybe the payoff will be worth it. I have no idea.

I think people are forgetting that there are 32 teams playing for that one SB title. I hear this same complaint from a lot of teams and fans. I was a Saints fan during the bag years. Tampa bay went two years before they won a game, after their existence. Look at the Falcons today. The issue people don't understand is, if we think we are a "really good team" we shouldn't be in so many games that get decided by a FG.
