Rangers win 4-2, always like it when they beat the Penguins

Stars lost to Connor McDavid 2-1. He surpassed 130 points on the season, an accomplishment not achieved since Lemieux and Jagr in the 95-96 season. The final score was 4-1 but McDavid had a goal and an assist on a short-handed goal.

Seriously, Shesterkin was an absolute whirling dervish, standing on his head to deny the Penguins over and over. Pittsburgh had 36 shots on goal to the Rangers 23.

36 saves, and a great number were just unreal! On one in the third period, he went down to the ice, the Penguin player tried to shoot over the top of him and he raised his right leg up over his back to block the shot. It was reminiscent of Pele's over the back shot back in the 70s. Crazy good!

GO RANGERS!

Stars ended a 6 game road trip, going 4-2, which took them to Buffalo and then to the PNW and then Alberta. Maybe the 9pm puck drops can stop now.
