well an update. did a complete restore, Xp sp2, 300 updates from microsoft and still have a problem with it running slow and taking forever to start some programs. looking at just buying a new computer with the money that GW is giving me to help the economy but also thinking about loading ubuntu on the old one and giving to my daughter to use. any opinions on it?
