I was 12 years old and it’s the day I lost my innocence and realised evil existed and life could be taken away at any point.

We had a holiday (vacation) booked to Florida 3 weeks later to go to Disney. The plane was half empty and Disney even less so.
There was also the anthrax letter thing happening around the same time that got whipped up into a frenzy because nobody knew if it was connected. There were stories in the media that AQ were going to fly crop dusters filled with anthrax over major landmarks including Disney World. It was a scary time.
