new kicker Shayne Graham interview from today (1 Viewer)

As others have pointed out, actually, it's "rejoin the team." During Doug Brien's last year with the Saints, IIRC, Graham looked very good in that training camp--and Brien was on the downside of his career. Who knows what would have happened had they signed Graham and stuck with him over all these years? Maybe the Saints don't beat Minnesota in 2009, maybe they do. Maybe Graham makes some of the kicks Hartley missed and misses some that Hartley made. Maybe they don't waste the draft pick on Mehlhoff, and maybe they don't need to pick up Carney and Kasay. Interesting to speculate.

Maybe we don't lose to Atlanta at home in 2010, end up with HFA, and win a second (or first, or third?) Super Bowl.

He can still kick the game winner even if it is the first points of the game for N.O. :)

No one says we can't put up another 30 after that and hold the Panthers to 0 points!
