Wow, just wow. This proposal is almost Arizonian. And the worst part - a woman proposed it!
==================================================================

New Mexico GOP Repesentative Cathrynn Brown has introduced a bill in the State’s House of Representatives that would prohibit women who have been raped from obtaining an abortion—or face a sentence of up to three years in prison as punishment for committing the offending act.

The legal theory behind the proposed legislation?

Tampering with evidence of a crime…seriously.

While the legislation is fairly assured not to become law as New Mexico’s legislative bodies are controlled by Democrats, the myriad of issues such a bill presents is truly extraordinary—staring with the very notion of an unborn fetus being classified as ‘evidence’.................

This is being proposed BY A WOMAN. The GOP keeps getting more and more out of touch with the majority of Americans. I guess they don't actually WANT to win future national elections.

I know it's fun and convenient to put this on the GOP as a whole, but let's be honest here...this wasn't proposed by the GOP. It was proposed by an idiot. We all know there are idiots on both sides of the aisle.

Unfortunately the idiot quotient in the Republican Party is pretty high right now. Unless the party heads figure out how to put a gag on these fools, we are looking at a nice long run of democratic control on a national level.

The only way to stop this is to find the idiot-making machine and kill it. You can see right on this board and friends we see everyday, that Rush Limbaugh still has a huge following, apologists, and people that down right worship the phlem he spews. He has helped carve the mindset, and in some cases enhance the stupid that already existed, in people on the right and far right. He says stupid, inflammatory drivel on a daily basis. People get caught up in that and feels that its ok to make laws based on the cult mindset.

Guess what, stopping the "legitimate rape" "deport them all" "Barack the magic negro" machine maker is not going to happen. He just, yesterday, called on Fox News and people on.the right to strike down the immigration reform proposal...a bipartisan effort. The guy couldn't care less about the Republicans ever winning again, as long as they listen to his crazy. Give him most of the credit for the recent losses and possible decades ahead where Republicans are bleeding supporters.

Not sure if he started attacking Jindal yet, but he came out and called Christie gay, a fat fool and said that he had man love for Barack, because Christie worked with him to secure money and help his state. Anyone that comes along in the Republican party, that starts to make sense, of course that means it will go against his nonsense, Rush attacks him on the radio. Now, Jindal has called all this stuff stupid, gonna be interesting.

Are we really surprised? The belief that life begins at conception means that you believe that every abortion or morning after pill taken equals a person's death at the hands of another. When you hold certain beliefs, it is a difficult proposition to be sensible about the ramifications those beliefs lend themselves too. Look at peta. Look at the Black Panthers and the Dixiecrats. Whether real or perceived, when a group of people (or animals in peta and ALF's world) is being mistreated and have no ability to resist, those who decide to stand between put away the ability to compromise, and become militant in their protection of the wronged. Like Malcolm X said "...by any means necessary." Some people are just able to think up means that no one else would've ever dreamed of.

Except the GOP ones are more virulent, crazy and numerous.

We've done the "Crazy-off" before here. The GOP wins going away.

Yeah, but the idiot table now leans very heavily toward the GOP brand. Jindal was correct i n a way "The GOP has to stop being the stupid party."

Yeah, but the idiot table now tilts very heavily toward the GOP. Gov. Jindal was right: "We have to stop being the stupid party."
