Well, the Coens' new movie (A Serious Man) is coming out in October. I'm thinking that Zombieland is going to be a riot and The Invention of Lying is sure to be hilarious. I'm looking forward to taking my 10-year old to see Where the Wild Things Are, too.

In November, The Fourth Kind looks interesting. So does The Box. 2012 has been hyped and talked about for a while, so we'll finally get to see what that's about. It wouldn't surprise me to see it turn out to be a cross between Next and The Day After Tomorrow. Sports fans (especially in Oxford and Memphis) will be lining up to see The Blind Side.

In December, Brothers is a movie about an Afghanistan POW with Natalie Portman and Jarhead-guy with the long-*** name I'm not looking up to spell. Clint Eastwood has a movie about Nelson Mandela coming out with Morgan Freeman in it. Then there's a Peter Jackson movie coming out. Something about Bones. (Pretty Bones?) and then the Avatar flick, Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey, Jude Law, etc. followed by another Vampire flick with Willem Dafoe and Ethan Hawk (Daywalkers, I think?).

After seeing the trailer recently, I'm looking forward to Legion with Paul Betthany that's coming out in the Spring. I think he's very underrated and I'm happy to see what he does with a starring role in a thriller. Lots of decent-looking stuff coming out this winter.

I can't wait to see Where the Wild Things are, myself. It was one of my favorite books as a child.

Zombieland is just a given...

I'm down with Zombieland, The Invention of Lying, and WTWTA.

In November, The Fourth Kind looks interesting.

I agree...but I'm wondering why they're billing it as based on true events?

So does The Box.

This movie is one that I"m really looking forward to.

Anything good coming up?

Seems like late springish or so we had multiple movie posts. Not many lately.

It's sad the movie I am looking forward to most is a remake not coming out till April/May 2010.

So whats good that's coming out soon?

I can't wait for the Nightmare On Elm Street remake either. Rumor is they will have the trailer for it in Zombieland. I think Platinum Dunes might actually pull this one off because they learned from the Jason remake.

After reading the FAQ's about this movie, I have to disagree. Of course we won't know until we see it, the changes in the story make it seem very typical.

I went to see Zombieland today and enjoyed it very much. Not the greatest of movies, but had me laughing throughout. Its a movie I will add to my DVD collection.

I have not watched A Nightmare on Elm Street since I watched Dream Warriors when I was 7 and it terrified me.
