The New Orleans Saints had a nightmare season in 2012. They endure Bounty Gate, lost head coach Sean Payton for the entire season, and dug themselves into an 0-4 hole to start the season. They came on strong after that, however, and found a way to finish a respectable 7-9.
The Saints get their mastermind Payton back in 2013, and along with him comes new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, as well as a new 3-4 scheme. That means at least a bit of a transitioning period in terms of personnel, among other things.
We know ‘Who Dat’ nation brings some mad offense to the table, but they still have some holes to address if they want to return to being serious Super Bowl contenders. Let’s dig in deep and see what those issues are as we prepare for the 2013 NFL Draft:
