The New Orleans Saints should be prepared for Drew Brees to retire, and these five outsiders may have a real option to start for the team in 2021.
While much of 2020 was a success filled for the New Orleans Saints, the postseason once again left them entering the offseason with so much regret. At 12-4, the team’s fourth 10-win season, the expectations were high for New Orleans.
It is expected that Drew Brees will retire, and if he does, he went out on a rough note, throwing three interceptions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Divisional Round loss to their NFC South rivals.
The Saints, who went in as the second-overall seed in the NFC, will now watch the team that beat them compete in the Super Bowl. It’s going to be a tough reality for both the team and Mickey Loomis when the offseason hits as well. ...
