If the NFL playoffs started today, the Saints and the Bears would have first-round byes. So would the Colts and the Chargers of the AFC.
First-round pairings would have the Eagles at the Seahawks and the Giants at the Cowboys.
In the AFC, the Jets would be at the Ravens and the Bengals at the Patriots.
The Bears clinched the NFC North championship with Sunday´s win over the Vikings.
The Saints (8-4) have a two-game lead over the Falcons and Panthers in the NFC South. Unless Atlanta wins all of its remaining games, the Saints will still win the NFC South with a win over Carolina on December 31, no matter what happens to the Saints between now and then.
The Cowboys (8-4) have a two-game lead over the Giants, but can´t clinch the division title in Week 14. The Giants (6-6) have the tiebreaker edge because of a better divisional record (3-1) than the Eagles (2-1).
