The season finale for the New Orleans Saints has less significance than they would like, but there are still plenty of motivating factors when they face the Atlanta Falcons Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at the Georgia Dome.

First, an 8-8 finish would be better than 7-9 because it would help the Saints avoid a third-straight losing season -- even if that's still not enough to make the postseason.

Second, it's the Falcons, and the Saints always want to play their best against the heated rival, especially considering Atlanta came to New Orleans and won earlier this season.
