Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Tuesday he's glad the teams in the NFC South are bunched closely together because it means his team (3-6) still has a chance to win the division.
The New Orleans Saints (4-5) could make the same claim, but with the second half of the season underway, both the Saints and Panthers are desperate for a win.
When these two teams met in Week 6, New Orleans won, 41-38, but allowed the Panthers to overcome a 21-point lead. Carolina also scored 28 points in the second half.
